I was contacted by a PPD recruiter about three days after applying online and scheduled a phone interview with that same recruiter. The recruiter sent me a CRA questionnaire to complete prior to the phone call. Phone screen was a few days later and was pretty basic - we reviewed my completed CRA questionnaire and he asked how close I was to an airport, able to drive, have a place to work out of my home. He then scheduled a virtual interview (Microsoft Teams) with two Line Managers. The interview occurred in just under two weeks from the phone screen with the recruiter.
Line Manager interview was very personal. One Line Manager for an hour each (total two hours). The first manager was very conversational and wanted more time. I ended up talking with the first manager for an hour and 15 minutes and the second for just over 45 minutes. They both seemed very happy with PPD and had worked there for a long time. It was a nice conversation and it felt like more of a dialogue.
Both managers filled out forms during the interview and made it apparent that they had to break down my answers and fill out the form completely. I'd 100% recommend the STAR method because this caused them to ask less follow up questions and made the interview go smoother.
