I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Salesforce (Dublin, Dublin) in May 2015
Interview
Handled incredibly professionally. The onsite recruiter was very friendly and new what she was doing. She had no agenda, was there to help and gave useful tips. The overall process was challenging but gave me more confidence in their organisation as I knew that they clearly wouldn't hire anyone
I applied online. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at Salesforce (Bengaluru) in May 2016
Interview
My interview process in Salesforce was extremely good and it was great to have this opportunity and followed by the job offer. I applied online in LinkedIn jobs and I got a call from the principal HR next day and then I was called for an interview. I had to face 2 rounds of interview, one with the hiring manager and the other one with the AVP - Sales. My F2F interview was completed in 1Hr and I received the offer in 5 days
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
I was asked on how keen I'm to work with salesforce after my stint in Oracle. What is that one thing that I will do differently to maximize on my numbers
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Salesforce (San Francisco, CA) in Sep 2016
Interview
There was a phone interview, then an in-person interview. The phone interview took about an hour, the in-person interview took about 45 minutes. They ask pretty standard interview questions. What's strange is that the Salesforce employees I spoke with outside the interview process told me to focus on being a culture fit & to get to know their marketing speak.
The RVP I interviewed with was super-focused on metrics and meeting quota. He didn't seem engaged in the interview process, though it could have been because I interviewed on a Friday afternoon.
I encourage you to interview in the morning. Know your sales metrics backwards and forwards before interviewing.
