I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Salesforce (London, England)
Interview
It was the best interview process I have ever experienced. Everything well organised, the HR teams were very helpful, prompt and there were plenty of tools to learn about the company before interview.
This week I have just the worst candidate experience ever. I have applied for a role which was indeed a good fit. I fulfilled at least 90% of requirements and I was really positive about my chances. The call itself took only 15 minutes, which is already call out for a question 'what? seriously???' The recruiter girl did not even introduce herself, immediately shot the first question. She was apparently rushing so much to be over this call which is just a number in statistics. Also it was literally said that actually other people are already further in the hiring process because they applied earlier. My question is why are you not closing the position if you have enough candidates? Why are you calling people, giving them hope if you already know they will be rejected? How dare you say to a candidate that just keep hoping however the position is almost fulfilled by others. If you call me why don't you give me basic respect that you introduce yourself and not rattle off your questions. Does the candidate not deserve at least half an hour to speak with? The way recruiters are talking to candidates matters a lot. If you make me feel you are not interested in my qualifications how I can sell it to you? If you treat me obviously as a number how I can feel relaxed and speak about myself naturally? Bad recruiters destroying candidates experiences and the company chances to find a good fit who could contribute to its success. If you have no time for candidates think it through if you, yourself are in a fitting position. Because I would not hire you with this kind of approach. I will not mention here the name of the lady but I hope she will recognize herself.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Salesforce (Indianapolis, IN) in Oct 2019
Interview
Began with a phone screen with HR, then a conversation with a technical specialist to confirm qualifications, then a video chat with the hiring manager, and finally a panel interview (in which I was asked to analyze a sample data set, present findings, answer questions, then meet for 30 minute sessions with each of the participants). After the final interview I followed up a couple of times with the initial HR recruiter, with her assuring me a decision would be made soon. After several weeks, I have not heard back. I think it's unacceptable that a candidate who has made it through all steps to the final interview and then just not hear back.

Question 1
Please provide an example of a project in which you made a mistake, and what you learned from said mistake.
We appreciate the time you took to share your experience. It is my intention and expectation that we close the loop with every candidate. I am sorry this was not the case in your experience. We appreciate your time and know how valuable it is. Your feedback will be used as an opportunity to reeducate our teams. Best of luck in your search.
