I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Salesforce in Mar 2017
Interview
Initial phone screen with recruiter. Then a 30 minute phone interview with the hiring manager the next week. Both interviews were very conversational and the interview with the hiring manager I was able to ask a few questions. Was invited in for an in-person with the team, hiring manager and their manager. It ended up being 4 interviews over 2 hours. All interviews were very conversational, I was asked a few questions in each and was able to ask quite a few questions as well. Everyone I met was fantastic and all asked good questions and they were able to answer my questions as well. I was offered the job later that evening. It took a few days to get the offer letter but it was a great experience overall.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Salesforce (Hyderabad) in Feb 2017
Interview
No streamlined process at all......
1. Initially, a telephonic round followed by an online test for the duration of 48 hrs
2. Face to face: Technical round with panel, which has no connection with the online test (all the efforts of 48hrs vanished)
NO CLEAR VISION, PLANNING & CLARITY ON THE REQUIREMENTS
Please think before you apply for a position @Hyderabad office
Thank you for sharing your experience here. I'm disappointed to learn that our process and the feedback you received were unsatisfactory, and I've taken the opportunity to address areas for improvement with our teams in Hyderabad. Best of luck with your search. - Ana Recio, SVP of Global Recruiting
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Salesforce (San Francisco, CA) in Jan 2017
Interview
Fast and simple. I had one screener call from a recruiter, one follow up call with my would-be manager, and then an in-person interview with several team members. The recruiting team seemed a little disorganized/decentralized (I communicated with four different recruiters throughout the process), but the in-person interview was fantastic. It was a series of 30-45 minute interviews with several team members as well as a case study and skills test (about 3 hours total). I enjoyed everyone I met with, and they thanked me several times for spending a few hours in the office which was a nice gesture. Great experience overall.
