Interview
The first screening interview was with HR/Recruiter and she was absolutely fantastic. She was energetic and very well spoken. Knowledgeable about the company and excited about the culture. Unfortunately, the hiring manager was far less than and seemed like I was literally taking up her time. It was extremely clear, from the start, she had absolutely no interest in speaking to me. She really struggled with answering my questions. I asked what she would like to see the person in this role accomplish in 30 days and she told me it would take at least 30 days to learn the software because it was so 'sophisticated'. So, let's translate, your system is far too difficult to use and you just indicted your product team by saying so. Also, she was completely unfamiliar with success metrics and the NPS process. Certainly did not instill confidence this was a progressive company. I would say if you're a junior level individual this may be a good fit but not for a seasoned professional.

I was reached out to by a recruiter to discuss the CSM position. This recruiter was slow to respond and once we were able to talk on the phone she mentioned the next steps. I have done my fair share of interviews and when I’m not a good fit for the company they at least deliver that info to me in one fform or another. Unfortunately she just completely avoided following up. Even a simple we are going in a different direction would be professional. When you are the one to initiate contact with someone it’s respectful to thank them for their time and provide them with an update not ghost them. Even following up thank you for time emails, and I haven’t heard back went unresponsive. The company seemed great so it was really a let down.

4 rounds of interviews and a presentation is required for the interview process. First screening then a current customer success manager then a manager and then the panel for the presentation
