On the first technical interview day, I received an email three hours before canceling the interview. In a follow-up, it was explained that they had made an offer the same morning, but the offer had not been accepted, and they could still reach out to schedule another interview. This is an extraordinarily disrespectful and offensive practice, independent of any other possible reasons. Candidates prepare for interviews; these people just wasted my time, not even wanting to test me. As a Latino, I can't help but feel discriminated.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at ServiceTitan in Oct 2024
Interview
Data Structure - Implement a pre defined interface. Fairly standard technical implementation that is more focused on your coding abilities than algorithmic work. Standard follow up questions related to the work that had been done.
Answered everything and finished code within time frame, all tests passing. Feedback at the end was great, no concerns with my abilities as an engineer stated. One week later was sent an email saying I failed the technical assessment :crying_laughing:
It was well prepared interview process with highly qualified engineers.
They asked me questions related to data structures, algorithms.
I solved them and then I get an offer. And that's awesome
