Interview
The hiring and interview process is very straight forward and fast. Nothing but great hines to say about the process. You leave with with knowledge about the company and culture. You are able to know if you are a great fit culturally from the very first call.
The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at ServiceTitan in Nov 2020
Interview
It started out with a phone screen that was pretty typical. I had a good experience with the recruiter. However, I was not impressed with my interview experience overall.
1. One of my interviewers told me was concerned I had only been in my previous role for a little over 2 years. First off, I was laid off during the beginning of COVID along with tens of millions of other Americans, that just means that I was unlucky. Second, the best way to increase salary is to move jobs every 2 years, and as a hiring manager they should know that.
2. Finally, they decided to make the position a senior level role because they got extra budget, so I was no longer qualified. Why can’t you decide what skill set you need before candidates are taking time off work to interview with you?

Interview
It all started with a pleasant phone interview with a recruiter. Basic interview questions. He said "you're perfect for this role. We'll be in touch."
Next day I get another interview with a manager on the sales team. Have a great conversation. He says "I think you'd be a great fit." blah blah blah. Two days later I get a request for a video interview with two more sales managers. I was even sent the interview questions they would ask so I was very prepared. None of the questions were out of the ordinary. I was told that I'd be a great fit and they'd be in touch in the next two days. Had a great feeling after this interview. Then a week goes by, I follow up and am told "you're not what we're looking for." Despite the fact that I was interviewed three times.
They said they wanted someone who would listen to feedback and grow from it. So I asked if they could give me any feedback from the interview. They all ghosted me. No one ever replied.
