I interviewed with a recruiter, who then moved me to the next interview round with the hiring manager.
The role, benefits, and compensations sounded perfect.
I felt as if I had a good rapport with the hiring manager and assumed things were going well and I would get to move to the next steps in the process after completing writing project/sample that took me four hours to complete.
That's where I was wrong.
I submitted the writing project/sample and waited a week to hear back. I heard nothing, so I messaged the recruiter who called me the next day. They told me the role had transitioned into a more junior role and the compensation was reduced nearly $30,000 (!).
Though this was not great news, I still said I would consider moving forward because the new compensation amount was close to the salary at my current role.
The recruiter said that was all well and good, and I should expect to hear back from them very soon.
This was over three weeks ago. I decided to look at the job description on the ServiceTitan careers page, and was surprised to see the role had been removed from the page.
I've been ghosted, and feel cheated for the sheer amount of time and effort I put into the interview and
writing project. I would at least like to have been told the job was no longer available, just to have closure.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at ServiceTitan (Eriwan, ) in Mar 2022
Interview
The Interview Process was professionally organized. The interviewers checked my communication skills, language skills, and overall characteristics as an employee. I believe that the process was one of the healthy interview processes that I have witnessed so far.
I wish everybody to have a similar experience with Service Titan.
