I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Slack in Apr 2022
Interview
Extremely professional, fun, and in-depth! Everyone was so helpful and I felt truly valued and cored for during the whole process. I will say these interviews are tough and in-depth, but I think that is a reflection of the company and who it values. Here was my overall interview process:
1. Phone screening with recruiter (10-15 minutes) super casual.
2. 1:1 with HM (60 min). This part was the hardest part for me. I felt like the behavioral and situational questions were complex. Be prepared to cater all answers to the job you are interviewing for.
3. 60 min Chronological Deep-Dive with HM and other Peer. This one was fun and pretty easy. All you have to do is tell a good narrative of your background from college up until current. Be prepared to have in-depth answers for each of your experiences and how you see them being applicable to the job you are interviewing for. (even if they don't match, think through this!!)
4. 60 min Panel Presentation: This was the best part! I put about 20 hours into preparing for this presentation and I do not regret it! More situational, case-specific questions from panel throughout the presentation
About 24 hours after the panel, I got an offer from the recruiter. The salary negotiations were held very responsibly and I am psyched with the package I ended up with!
All and all a REALLY great experience but be ready to WORK for it!

One call with recruiter and a technical interview.
After the technical interview I was told I passed and there would be another round of more specific interviews.
I was told later that week that the job was filled and j would be put into a queue for another similar role. Never heard back from them after that
