I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Slack in Feb 2022
Interview
My experience echoed a lot of the reviews on here. The hiring manager was distant and clearly not interested in actually interviewing me. They didn’t ask a single question about my experience. They actually didn’t ask a single question about anything, besides a couple placeholder technical questions. I had to awkwardly try to keep the conversation going, which was obviously going nowhere. A few days later I received an email from the recruiter letting me know they were not moving forward. I would not have moved forward, either, after this off putting interaction.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Slack (Dublin, Dublin) in Feb 2022
Interview
I got through the recruiter phone screen, hiring manager interview and a second interview with the hiring manager and one other. The hiring manager was late, and the second interview was quite repetitive.
There was almost zero communication from the recruiter, I always had to follow up to hear back, and it would take several days to get a response. I was waiting 2 weeks after my last interview, I sent a follow up email and only got a response when the person who referred me contacted the recruiter. For a company all about communication there was a lack of communication throughout the whole process.

Question 1
Questions that started all the way back at why did you choose this degree, what was your favourite module, who was the lecturer.
Lots of detail needed for each role such as your past managers name, how they would describe you.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Slack (Dublin, Dublin) in Mar 2022
Interview
Very clear process.
First it was an assessment where they asked typical questions of examples of great customer service given. All ideally answered with examples.
Then if you pass, the Recruiter will have a call with you where a few more questions about background and experience and why Slack, salary expectation, etc.
Then you will have a 30 min interview with a manager where they will ask you more questions about your current role, experiences, etc.
If you pass all this, finally you will have a 1:30 hour interview divided into three sections, with manager, a senior customer agent and another manager at the end.
Similar questions during the whole interviews but different.
