Interview
I applied online and got an email saying that they respond back to every application within a week even if it's negative. It's been over 5 months and I still haven't gotten any communication from them. @Slack please update your default application response. I don't usually expect a response but you explicitly said that you would.

Interview
Interview involved a take home exercise. The exercise was interesting and allows the candidate the showcase skills relevant to the interview.
I was invited on-site after this step. The on-site interview is in line with what they describe on the website. In my opinion, the interview went quite well. One of the interviewers was trying to guide me towards a specific response, though their expectations were unclear.
Overall, the interview went quite well, however, I was notified that there wouldn't be an offer.

Question 1
UI interaction questions were asked, which I believe to be irrelevant to the position.

Interview
Really awful communication. Took 1 month to schedule the phone screen (the recruiter no showed and didn’t respond afterwards for several days), then they asked for my availability for the second stage interview which I had to provide 3 times over the course of 1.5 months with once again, little to no response all throughout. The team needed continuous nudging to push the process along and give candidates in the pipeline an update. After 6 weeks of being led on, I reached out one last time as they had promised someone would follow up to schedule my second interview and was told the role has been filled. Truly disappointing interview experience.
