Phone screen was fine and standard interview with codepad problem. But on site was awkward as you had to solve non-standard coding problems in less than 30 min and make all unit tests pass. The interviewers were not helpful.
I found the job on Snapchat's website and applied online over the weekend. On Monday, I received an email asking for an interview on Tuesday. We did a video Interview for about 30 minutes. They then decided whether or not to offer me the job.

Question 1
What makes Snapchat different from television and newspapers?
I applied through other source. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Snap (London, England) in Apr 2017
Interview
I got headhunted by a lead Snapchat recruiter for an opening in their new London office. After exchanging a couple of emails, he rang me to talk about a design challenge. After a few weeks I got an automated email to say that I was not successful. I messaged the Snapchat recruiter for some feedback, I chased a few times but heard nothing back.
I got the impression that this recruiter was not bothered about trying to find talent. I felt used, the whole process was rushed and not organised. I expected more from a company like Snap.
