General HR Interview

On-site interview
Second interview, technical and interesting
On-Site: Met with a group of people. Manager of the office extremely arrogant and had no clue what the position was about. Made questions not related to the position along with snide comments.
Lack of alignment with company's goals.
Completely unattractive location: Not close to any major hub, making the commute rather long.

Interview
After seeing the open job posted on their site, a friend reached out to a senior leader on my behalf. I was invited in for a series of in-person interviews with peers for the role, completed a case study, and did a phone interview with the head of the department.
