I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Snap (New York, NY) in Jun 2015
Interview
Applied online, got asked to do the story challenge, got contacted by an HR rep about a phone screen, then got asked to go to an on-site interview in NY. Whole process went very smoothly albeit a bit slow.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Snap (Santa Monica, CA) in Apr 2015
Interview
Typical interview -- what are your weaknesses, what would you want to tackle first, etc. They flew me down to LA, and had many additional phone interviews. In total, it was 7 phone interviews and 5 in-person interviews. They set up a time to talk on the phone and turn me down.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Snap in May 2015
Interview
Typical phone screening. Took some time to get started because of some technical issues on their end, but other than that pretty regular. Nothing out of the ordinary from big software companies. Interview was conducted over Google Hangout. There were some connection issues on their end, but were cleared up after a little while.
