I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Snap (Seattle, WA) in May 2021
Interview
Brief informational interview, 20 mins or so. Talked about upcoming company initiatives, personal projects, and work experience. Left the interview understanding that I was under-qualified for the role, but the interviewer was complimentary and encouraging.

I applied online. I interviewed at Snap in Jan 2022
Interview
process was long and drawn out they had me interview with 2 different senior managers because the recruiter wasnt sure which team would have been a better fit and which one needed staffing more urgently. took 3-4 weeks between rounds. Panel interview is a back to back interview with 4 people on different teams - not the team you'd actually work with. With cancellations and rescheduling on their end this 1 day 2h process got dragged out over 3 weeks.
