I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at The Home Depot (Federal Way, WA) in May 2017
Interview
Took about a week to hear back, mostly everything is automated until your face to face interview. I drove 20 min for 5 min interview. He asked me the same simple questions that all retail chains ask. It's was laid back, but it was really just a waste of gas. Haven't heard anything back.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at The Home Depot (Howell, NJ) in May 2016
Interview
The interview process was short and simple. The questions asked by the interviewer are predetermined, scripted questions which the interviewer rates via a given scale (I believe a 0-4 scale). The questions do encourage the interviewee to respond with thoughtful reflections from prior work experiences. Be direct and do not beat around the bush.
