The interview was cordial and brief, it included a few general questions to contextualize the information on the CV. The whole selection process however is relatively slow and sometimes not very decisive. May include written technical competency tests to evaluate one's ability to communicate clearly, summarize information quickly, and adapt tone and style to the audience. Recommend identifying criteria by which you may be erroneously screened out and explicitly addressing it in the cover letter and interview. The UN receives a lot of incomplete and poor quality applications for internships so be clear and err on the side of too much information.
