I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at UPS (Chicago, IL) in Apr 2009
Interview
Worked as a loader for approximately 1 year. I put my letter of intent in to start the process of becoming a part time supervisor. The process only took about 1 month before I started my supervisor orientation class. I was promoted when I finished the class. The interview process prior to the class was pretty straight forward for an operations position. It's all about how you handle situations that you would face in that type of environment.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at UPS (New York, NY) in Oct 2011
Interview
This is a somewhat lengthy interview process. Starts with online application, followed by an intelligance test and a general "interview" over the phone, which is more just confirming all of the information you submitted. Then brought in for a group/panel interview, which includes a role play/presentation along with several in-depth questions. Overall not bad.
I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at UPS (Chantilly, VA) in Aug 2010

Pretty lengthy process, i had to go to integrad, there training coarse. need an 85 percent to pass, a pretty high washout rate.
the interview was pretty standard though,
