Interview
I applied online where I then set up my interview after completing the application. The following Monday I went to the job site for which I assumed would be a straight interview but turned out to be just a tour of the facility along with an presentation about the company. We toured the Sorting and Loading areas in which sorters get paid more but you have to take a few assessments before getting the job so I just applied for loader since it would be easier. After the tour the hr gives everybody the opportunity to set up an 1:1 interview and since I was the first to arrive I got first picks and set it up for the day after. On my 2nd interview the hr went over basic questions and then everything else fell real easy and I was hired on the spot

Interview
I applied online at UPS.com. I received an email from the recruiter about a week later to set up a phone interview. I spoke to the recruiter on the phone about the position and what it entails. I was asked some questions about my background in sales and how I would feel about the position. We danced around salary expectations and then the recruiter invited me to take a Battery Sales Test that would be emailed to me.
I took the test the next moring. It was easy. It asked behaviroal questions and how you would handle clients, balance meetings and handle rejection. I emailed the recruiter after I finished. I was told promptly by the recruiter that I passed and would be referred to the hiring manager in two weeks.
I was contacted by the hiring manager as promised and a panel interview was conducted. STICK with the STAR interview format. It IS what they are looking for. I interviewed with the HR Sup, and the Sales Manager. I was asked around 8-10 detail questions. We talked in great detail about the job.
The following week I was told I was being considered for the position and two days later I was asked to come in again. I made an appointment for the following week and was offered a position.
