I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at US Air Force (Atlanta, GA) in Oct 2012
Interview
I was selected out of high school. I only had to pass a medical and security check. The interview was long especially the MEPS part. MEPS is where you get your medical done and answer a lot of questions about your past and provide references. Overall, the process was easy and you just have to be honest.
The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at US Air Force
Interview
No real interview unless you consider the time spent with the recruiter as the interview. Take the aptitude test and select a job you like. Don't believe everything they tell you. Do your own research for the job you want. They will not except you if you have a felony in your past. They also perform drug test before you join, so clean up and stay drug free.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at US Air Force (San Antonio, TX) in Apr 2012
Interview
There's no interviewing, you just go to the recruiter with no prior knowledge of what to expect. Best bet is to pick anything other than Fire/Rescue, Emergency Medical, Security Forces, and anything that makes you go on the flight line for any reason.
