I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at US Air Force (Scott AFB, IL) in Mar 2016
Interview
Searched and applied for position via USA Jobs website. Contacted two weeks after closeout date for an interview the following day. Interviewed by panel of three - one military (lieutenant colonel) and two civilians for about 40 minutes. Some technical questions and some managemjent-focused. Professional and courteous throughout; told I did well afterwards. Notified of non-selection four weeks later.

I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at US Air Force (Okinawa) in Feb 2012
Interview
Very professional round-table discussion with the hiring official as well as staff members. Each member had an opportunity to ask questions, but were not looking for a textbook answer. Rather, they were curious to see my personality and non-verbals while answering.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 7 months. I interviewed at US Air Force (Irving, TX)
Interview
There was no interview process, either you met the qualifications or you did not. You had to be healthy and ready for anything that is going to come your way for the military life and you had to pass the ASVAB.
