Interview
Basic background check and qusetonaire. Requires security questions and physical checkup at a military processes center. As long as you have a HS diploma or GED, and no major criminal/negative-financial history, you'll be accepted, as long as you are willing to wait for a spot to open. There are no tranditional interveiw questions. Completion of the ASVAB test is required, and your scores will affect what jobs you may get selected for. Be cautious of promises for specific career fields. If it's not in writting, you won't get it.
No interview is required. They conduct an records review and deiced if you can bring in different career field experiences. They were also looking to see if this could help you in your Air Force career in the future.

Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS). MEPS is a Department of Defense joint-service organization staffed with military and civilian professionals. MEPS personnel determine applicants' physical qualifications, aptitude and moral standards as set by each branch of military service.
