I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at US Navy (Norfolk, VA) in Jun 2011
Interview
The interview was done over the phone. I had to submit photos in my dress uniform so that the board could see if I would present a good image of the navy. I also had to get letters of reference from prior supervisors and the commanding officer of the ship I was stationed on to submit. I had to also submit my weight and height and the results of my physical fitness tests from the past to prove that I had not failed in the recent past.
