In my experience - the interview process really shows itself to be aware of the needs of the interviewee -
Obviously I can only speak for my experience.
It was well organised, respectful, and well managed but their HR department.

They asked lots:
Why did I want the job?
What was it about Exeter that attracted me?
Where did I see myself in 5y time…
I didn't have to complete an interview, as a student intern. I did have to complete a form on why I wanted the job using the STAR approach, but no CV was required.

Questions for the form included things along the lines of: how do you fulfil the criteria in the job description/ what makes you suitable for the role.

Interview
It was an online interview with two professors, lasted about 1 hour, they didn't ask too many complicated questions, overall id say it was easy they do make it sound like theyd give you the job but that is not always the case
