Waitrose interview questions

When I arrived for my interview I let the employee at the help desk know I had arrived and he kindly offered me a coffee and showed me to the waiting area. I was then interviewed by one of the managers who was very kind and reassuring through the whole interview and overall it was a very relaxed interview and only lasted around 15 minutes. I was told at the end of the interview that I would hear back if I got the job or not within the next few days and that it would update on the online communication centre. Fast forward to now, over 6 weeks later, and I have heard absolutely nothing and my communication centre has not updated. I emailed about this two weeks ago but was told that they had still not made a decision. I don't mind not having been successful but to have received no communication despite being told I would is very frustrating. Overall the interview process was very positive but the communication afterwards was not
