online application, followed by automated in-store assessment dealing with customer service situations, then face-to-face interview with hiring manager and brief interview with store manager. All verbal or online, so have your information at hand before beginning the process.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Is there any physical limitation that would keep you from working in the cooler or working the truck.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Walgreens (Waltham, MA) in Mar 2011
Interview
They have 2 interviews first with a store manager then with the DM. They were both very laid back and only took 15 minutes each. They each asked about 5 questions. They did not need a bunch of filler talk they just wanted straight answers.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me about a time you had to deal with an upset customer. What was the situation, how did you handle it and how did you know you were effective
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Walgreens in Aug 2010
Interview
The hiring process consisted of an online application with way too many irrelivant questions. It also was most certainly not the easiest application to complete. There was a call from the employer to set up a time and date to come in for an interview. The interview was pretty lackluster and consisted of some basic company information followed by a series of questions and some small talk about the weather. Next was a brief description of the job duties and finally a short tour of the store.
