I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Walmart in Jan 2017
Interview
Quick and easy. I was a cashier applying for the role. We had a terrible CSM from another store at the time, and he had no idea how we ran things or how the store worked (every store is different). I went to another CSM about my interest in applying, she mentioned it to my manager at the time. I took an assessment on the WIRE, passed and had an interview the next day. My job offer was two days later.
The interview took place in a group setting. It was a very interesting and rewarding experience although I did not get the job. I got to interact with persons from other cultures and was able to appreciate their diverse background and culture. The interviewer was very cordial and interacted with us during the process. she was also very knowledgeable in regards to the questions posed.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Walmart (Edmonton, AB) in Jun 2019
Interview
Group interview with the Manager. Group exercises, behavioral and situational type of questions. Work in team. Friendly atmosphere, explanation of the hiring process and next steps upon employing. The interview was 40-1 hour long .
