Wipro came in our CDAC, Pune campus for interview. For all the eligible candidates there was interview invite.
Procedure:
Online written test (C/ C++/ OOPS concept MCQ questions, Aptitude, English, Reasoning).
Result declared after 15-20 minutes only. Selected candidates called for the F2F discussion.
Candidates asked to choose their skill-set for the interview, I.e. Java, C/ C++, C-Linux, .Net and their interview happened based on their category. There was multiple technical panel for the interview.
I choosed Java, so called on Java panel. There were 2 interviewers on that panel. Both were friendly and after 1 minutes I felt comfortable in talking with them. They started with the OOPS questions and asked everything what I mentioned in my resume.
OOPS concepts in details with the real world example and equivalent code implementations.
Exception handling, checked exception, un checked exception, custom exception, keywords used in exception handling in Java, stack trace
Object class methods, why multithreading, thread-safe, deadlock, synchronization
Few general questions on collection framework.
Few basic questions on Spring MVC and Hibernate.
Detailed discussion about project handled during CDAC training. What technology used and why, how much you can scale and how, some database related questions like design of the project database, trigger, basic SQL queries, annotations used in project, how can you replace XML based configuration with annotations in your project, etc.
They asked last question as what if I will make constructor as private? I explained this to them. They asked me to wait outside.
I informed that I have been cleared the technical interview. Next was HR interview. HR asked few questions as:
1. Why preferred location Bangalore?
2. Willing to work on any technology or not?
3. Do you willing to relocate?
4. Hobbies
5. Why Wipro?
With few more similar questions, HR asked me to wait outside.
I was selected in Wipro!!😊
