I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at World Bank Group (Washington, DC) in Jul 2019
Interview
One week after applying (end of May) online I received an email saying that the shortlisted candidates would be contacted 3 weeks later. After 3 weeks I was told I was shortlisted (end of June) and then asked for an online interview with a panel of 4 people less than a week later (mid July). I got a positive response 2 weeks latter (end of July).

Question 1
It was mostly motivational type of questions (which makes sense since it was only an internship position and you are placed based on your background and business needs) 1. Where do you see your self in 5 and 10 years? , 2. Why the World Bank? 3. Why the World Bank and not IMF? (I had written my thesis on IMF conditionality), 4. Tell us about XX that you did (mentioned in my CV already), 5. Why did you choose the specific departments of the Vice Presidency?
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at World Bank Group (Nairobi) in Jul 2018
Interview
The interview process is thorough. In my case, i was invited to multiple panel video interviews and also had a case scenario which was to test my Ms Excel and Ms Powerpoint skills.
