Pros

Great pay and benefits. Amazing opportunity to grow and learn from peers. Steep learning curve. Character builder. Very cutthroat. They give you a company car.

Cons

I cannot even explain how crazy the hours were while working here. It was a never ending job that never ceased to fill my head with worries and curveballs. If you can survive the first two years of boot camp, then maybe you are strong enough to

Pros

Flexible schedule Great Starting Pay Great job to have in college. Also you get to seat down while you ring up customers.

Cons

As a partime associate you do not get any benefits except for 401 k after one year. Yeah that's right no vacation, bonus, holiday pay, etc. It is nearly impossible to move up to management. They rather hire someone fresh out of college then to promote someone with the same credentials from within. You max out on raise after two years. You might get a smaller raise at the end of the year depending on sales.

Buying Assistant

Pros

There are no Pros to this position. If you consider being stagnant in the same position for the rest of your life a Pro, then there you have it.

Cons

Beware. This position is not what you think. I was led to believe this was an Assistant Buyer position but it turned out to be an Administrative Assistant. I was an Administrative Assistant to a "Buyer" that had 0 buying experience and had NO CLUE what he was doing. Basically, you answered the phone for your buyer, scheduled their meetings, and entered information into the system. There is no room for growth nor do they let you make any decisions whatsoever. I would not recommend this position to anyone. I felt very dumbed down and very looked down upon even though I had way more experience than the buyer I was supporting. This is NOT a good company to work for.
