Pros

Excellent work ethic with the ability to change your mindset. Great challenge with no two days being the same. Working with great people to achieve difficult, stretching goals.

Cons

People progressed into management based on their workability rather than their management ability. Because of the Area Management programmes, there are a lot of inexperienced managers straight out of uni with minimal people skills.

Great pay, friendly teams and always plenty to get on with. No two days are the same, and every day flies by. Work can be tough, and some weeks can be very long, but it's hugely satisfying and if you're willing to work hard the rewards are endless.

Cons

Shift patterns can some times be erratic, and occasionally you feel you get little time at home.
