Cons

Standard shelf stacking work. Customers occasionally difficult. Very high staff turnover. Long hours with short break times. No natural light in store.

Pros

- encouraged and supported to work hard - trained in excellent customer service - very social job despite being in a supermarket (you can have conversations with customers) - pay is decent for younger generation - awards system is great - sense of unity in entire store, everyone knows everyone and usually all friendly - extensive training and progression opportunities available - LGBT Friendly, strong equality and diversity morals and active community participation makes this a good place to work for everybody - all are given a chance.

Cons

- sometimes work is very stressful - not really allowed to talk to other colleagues while store is busy - nothing else, really a great place to work!
