Pros

Very flexible working hours and a lot of overtime is offered to employees. The new holiday scheme is very good for the people that do a lot of overtime as they are offered some form of bonus pay as a result of this.

Cons

Working here can sometimes be stressful, especially due to the fact that other employee like to not turn upto work. Therefore this results in others having to work a lot harder in order to get jobs done in time.

Pros

Some of the people you work with are really friendly and helpful. The majority of customers you deliver to are also very friendly.

Cons

Well where to start! The wages are a joke for the job you do. You might as well sit on a checkout (no offence checkout people!) and earn the same money. You are out in all sorts of conditions, battling the traffic, trying to deliver within time slots, attempting to locate house numbers in the dark... The shift patterns, for me at least, are rubbish. Friday, Saturday and Sunday every week, when there are other staff who don't seem to do any weekends or night work. Guess it depends on the length of time you've worked there? It would make more sense if it was done on some kind of rota system, then at least I'd get to spend some weekends with my kids! The management are terrible, no communication, constantly shanging my shift pattern without actually notifying or asking me. The senior management don't seem interested in even saying hello to you! All in all, I personally think it is a terrible job and I am looking to leave as soon as possible. I would recommend you think hard before accepting a job as a delivery driver at asda.
