Pros

The opportunities are good, facilities too, additional benefits are better than most. Great team to belong to and the company listens to its colleagues.

Cons

Wages are lower than other supermarkets and there is always the pressure of saving wages. There is also the downside of the pay rate being the same for each department, whether you collect trollies from the car park, on the tills or drive a van.

Pros

Great company to work for, many years working in other sectors where you aren't appreciated for what you do. Feel there is a genuine opportunity to progress if you are interested in doing so - lots of people say there isn't, but you really do own your own progression plan here.

Cons

Only issue is around pay; lots of home office colleagues on the same grade but with wildly different salaries. Would be beneficial to have a public pay matrix.
