Good but bad

Pros

Great colleagues in the whole. job security ( unless you do something wrong) decent wage

Cons

Not all the Value statements are lived in some stores Development was not always on merit and with new structure development has been made extremely hard by reducing management roles. Short term support is good after a serious incident but longer term looks bleek

Not good enough

Pros

The staff. The other colleagues are what makes the work bearable. Found management to be quite accepting of disabilities and able to work around them.

Cons

Poor pay, less than the living wage. Know of many staff who have had to take extra jobs or claim benefits to make ends meet. Management run the store like a clique, favourite staff get better jobs and there's lots of nepotism.

Pros

Asda is a relatively flexible employer who pay good wages and offer opportunities to develop. Colleagues are easy to communicate with.

Cons

There is a lack of available overtime which results in me not being able to do my job to the high expected of me. Managers often don't understand that good work takes time.
