Pros

Good brand to work for

Cons

- Unfair appraisals are common sight. It all depends on your equation with your manager rather than your work - Several incompetent people promoted to QA managers in last 3-4 yrs bringing down the confidence of all. - It is good to bring females at par but it should not be at cost of discriminatory attitude towards males. Unfortunately, it is happening at Adobe. Females are promoted just because they are females and not based on their talent.

Pros

Great place to work! Frequent outings, Free food and Snacks, Shuttle service, Best in class Laptops and workstations, Work life balance but it is fading out at fast pace, Free access to learning resources and wellness benefits :) The Company is moving in right direction.

Cons

Adobe is not same in all orgs in terms of employee satisfaction. So I have listed down some cons of Adobe INDIA. 1. Salary increment is low even if you joined at a low compensation, You will desire to switch to obtain a comfortable package. 2. No technical growth in role, you will loose your tech skills after working for more than a year in this role. 3. Management: Managers consider them as gods and Individual Contributer as slaves. Adobe in turn pamper managers and shower them with RSUs while ICs gets peanuts. Entry level and Mid career ICs would feel like second class citizens. 4. Reporting Managers apply force to make you dance to their tunes. 5. Differences with your manager can seriously affect you work life balance. 6. Managers are reluctant to approve when employee want to pursue their desired technical training. 7. Managers decisions are not at all aligned with their global counterparts.
