      Left behind with Acquisition

      Pros

      Health coverage and Adobe's wages IF you were hired directly into an Adobe position (I was transferred in through a buy out of company).

      Cons

      Kept us on our previous wage after buy out, but new people hired got the Adobe wage. Had to train new people on 40%+ more salary than myself. Kept being told there was 'no magical pot of money' to up our wages, and yet we had to sit through meeting after meeting of new products and companies they were buying.

      Welcoming, Inspiring and Exciting Experience

      Pros

      There are three things I am sure everyone who joins Adobe will appreciate. 1. The welcoming experience. Everyone beginning from Recruiter/HR, mid even senior management is working hard to help you settling in. Because of them, I already felt at home beginning my 2nd/3rd week. 2. Constantly both through the company's culture and colleagues such as managers or teammates, I am being given inspirational examples and encouragements. Even when we had to deal with massive crisis, we never forgot to ensure we inspire each other. 3. Adobe is doing some pretty amazing things. It's difficult work. But it's also exciting work. This is possible through collaboration and the internal processes. Contributor is not expected to solve problem by themselves. We are meant to work as a team and as a company. Challenges then transformed to become an exciting opportunity because of this.

      Cons

      I join during the pandemic, so the orientation had to be online. However, this was made up later with small informal gatherings with senior management in smaller groups.
