Pros

Flexible work hours On-site gym at Cambridge Good work-life balance

Cons

Pay can be higher, especially given the house prices and rental prices in Cambridge. Finding a parking space is a problem at the main campus.

Thanks for leaving a review! We pride ourselves on having a fantastic work-life balance, being flexible with time and placing trust in our employees to get the job done. Housing and rental prices are unfortunatenly items out of our control, though we do offer a competitive salary compared to other companies in Cambridge. As for parking, hopefully this will be resolved once the new campus is completed, though that will not be until sometime in 2017. You can also look into the ride-sharing option with other ARM colleagues that can also help you save some money on petrol! -Rick C. Social Recruiting Manager

Pros

ARM has a great rotation program for new grads. You get to rotate to several different teams and understand more parts of the business so that you end up a better engineer. They're small enough to where you can know most of the business and move around. Its a good environment. There is an urgency to work done, but the office is relaxed.

Cons

Employee diversity is low (in terms of gender, race, and lifestyle)

Thanks for leaving a review! For the graduates that join into a graduate rotation program, it is designed to give them the opportunity to learn about different teams that comprise ARM. The goal is for you to become a well-rounded engineer, and then you can choose which team you liked best to continue on in your career! Like many tech companies, employee diversity can be an issue. We are committed to equal opportunities for all candidates, regardless of gender, race or lifestyle and are working on initiatives to increase diversity across the board. We're also supporting STEM education, partnering with the BBC to provide micro:bit computers to all year 7 students in the UK, and stimulating the next generation of engineers. If you have some ideas on how we can improve, we encourage you to speak to your HR business partner, and see how you can get involved! -Rick C. Social Recruiting Manager

Pros

The people I work with are friendly and intelegent. Co-workers are willing to help eachother other out which represents ARM win-win attitude.

Cons

It is easy to have a narrow focus and not be aware of what the company as a whole is doing, but the all the needed resources are available. In my particular group there is a very steep learning curve which translates into a long startup phase.

Thanks for leaving a review! The core of any company is the people, and we have a very open and willing to assist work culture. It's easy to put on blinders and to focus on solely on the project, so make sure to take a step back and interact with people outside your team, especially during lunch. Who knows, you might find you really like another team in your graduate rotation! We always love to hear feedback on ways we can improve the onboarding/induction process, so please pass on any feedback you have to the HR team! -Rick C. Social Recruiting Manager
