      Very slow paced and everything has to go through 100 layers of management The attempted nvidia acqusition was a pain Poor team coordination Sluggish management with not-so-good-ideas Slow pace of learning and getting exposed to new and interesting ideas

      Struggling with retention

      Pros

      Flexible working, interesting technical challenges, some great co-workers, pay quite good but mediocre extras.

      Cons

      Terrible middle management, hopeless at inspiring, they just want to micromanage, too many meetings, hard to get much work done. Obsessed with diversity and inclusion, yet management are opaque untrusting and even repressive towards unfavoured engineers. Not surprising very high number of experienced engineers leaving in recent years.

      Great company to work with

      Pros

      Very open working environment. You can read the graphics document from both HW and SW if you want, and also get access to the code. Engineers are good quality, and they play a well team work. They aim for resolving any kind of the problems. Work-life can be balanced.

      Cons

      The salary is a bit low. The management doesn't understand the importance of some teams. Promotion is pretty slow. Not so much room for development if you are already grade 6.
