      Pros

      Work is challenging, but it's rewarding to see how the developed technologies work their way to end users. Good opportunities for growth, both in terms of career and technologies.

      Cons

      Sometimes lack of visibility of the big picture from engineering, making it difficult to understand some management decisions. Communications have improved on this over the years.

If you feel you have the bandwidth, consider asking for side projects that can get you additional exposure to different teams/groups!
