Pros

Salary was solid & immediate coworkers were good. That’s all that kept me.

Cons

No cohesion, no concrete plans, ruined Manitou brand reputation within 2 years, boring/long days mixed with extremely stressful days after copious manufacturing errors resulted in tons of expedites. Bad product I didn’t feel comfortable sharing, bad work ethics with supplier treatment, incompetent upper management members, very cramped office setting, all long term employees have left & little knowledge remains.

Cons

growth can be limited to Canadians. Culturally can be challenging to manage, considering the Canadian and Austrian/German disparity of location and cultures.

- Constant product innovation creates exciting atmosphere - Fun products - Some roles have flexibility in working location

Cons

- the company is disconnected from the consumer culture - most employees are not passionate about the product or brands - nepotistic hiring practices are very common resulting in under qualified employees - brand marketing teams can’t articulate their brand DNA - brand core values change creating difficulty in consistency - majority of employees based in rural Canada causes challenges understanding the global consumer and employee experience
