Pros

I met a lot of interesting people here.

Cons

This job has a high turnover rate, and from the second you get there, you'll figure out why. There is constant pressure from management to sign people up for credit cards. Customers are frustrated and will be very rude to you.

Meh.

Pros

You get a significant employee discount (on certain items; not on the game console you want, but on the warranty for it yes.) Somewhat flexible hours.

Cons

Dated backend systems for POS and order management cause problems for workers and customers alike. No growth opportunity really unless you want to become a retail manager and deal with clueless people and hard problems for not much more pay. Lots of pressure to sell memberships that just are not that useful unless the customers really use warranties or Geek Squad a lot. (There's some irony in Glassdoor forcing me to write this review in order to retain access too the platform; I haven't found a better job through Glassdoor than being a retail cashier with my many college degrees.)
