Pros

a lot of people my age so made a lot of friends

Cons

Too woke, HR has mandatory training that seem to be directed only at behaviour men need to improve. Pay is not great, when Best Buy was making record profits during the pandemic, they cut bonuses for everyone except management. We worked evenings and weekends to retool Best Buy's processes and tools to adapt to online orders etc. All they gave us was a $25 Door Dash gift card while management continued to get bonuses.

Pros

I enjoyed the work we did. Getting to work with various technologies, being able to work directly with clients in their homes rather than in store. And always learning something new.

Cons

The company has unfortunately veered away from putting its employees first and has downsized, cut most positions, cut market/vendor trainings, had high turnover and overall morale had been sinking in my final few years. Everyone became expendable. They got rid of all bonus structures and ultimately made, what was once a great place to work with lots of potential, a sad shell of it's former self.
