It's okay for a first job

Pros

Hard to say but it's a very lenient job

Cons

Only part with up to 28/Hr, no pay raises, Don't get taught like the other stores from leads at Samsung,LG, no one even thought they have shopped in the store before and I asked them personally when are they going to come and teach us. They said we don't go to outlets. Overwhelmed with customers since problems do arise since your only selling major appliances and TVs for the most part, no display to educate the customers you have to educate yourself by watching some Linus tech tips or something elearnings are okay.

Pros

none none none none none

Cons

will work together as group to keep you out if they don't like you or feel you will get too much praise, talent acquisition thinks they own best buy. looking out for themselves not employees or potential employees..will not take into consideration someone different, they want perfection not dedicated people who love their job or will do a good job...tread with caution

Pros

Fairly easy once you get the hang of it. Employee discount is nice.

Cons

Hours vary wildly (4-40). Other departments will schedule you without any notice or training.
