Pros

Being the first to see new technology roll out. It's also nice to get a discount. We have a easy to use app that gives us immediate access to need to know specks.

Cons

It requires discipline to not spend that paycheck. There is always something that will catch your eye. Also, everyone that knows you will assume that you are their personal geek squad agent.

Terrible As you Climb

Pros

Staff discount. That is all.

Cons

As you climb the food chain, you realize that nobody cares about anyone but their own career path, and how they will dangle carrots in your face to accumulate your buy-in, only to fire you the next month for not being able to perform job tasks outside your pay, outside your grasp, and not even in your job description.
