Hi Panda — We’re pleased to hear that you’re enjoying our new Vienna HQ, the culture we’ve built together at Bitpanda and working alongside your fellow Pandas. We know that the recent news has come as a shock to many. The current extent of the market situation was also surprising for us and was impossible to fully predict. Unfortunately, this meant we’ve had to move fast with a one-time-only reduction to our team. This tough call was taken to ensure we can navigate this storm as a financially healthy company and stay true to our mission of making investing accessible to everyone. At Bitpanda, we’re committed to creating a working environment that is always open, honest and fully transparent. That’s why we wish our communication about this one-off scale-down could have been more personal, with no questions remaining open. Regrettably, this was not possible due to the different local jurisdictions and strict legal restrictions. Understandably, seeing so many talented team members having to leave is difficult.
