It's great to hear you're enjoying a fantastic experience with us so far — we're also glad to have you here on team Bitpanda! As we work in a highly regulated sector, we naturally take the security of the company, customers and our Pandas very seriously, which is why we have to be careful about where we allow our folks to work from whilst abroad. While there are other safe countries outside of the EU to work from (you can find the complete list on our internal Confluence page), our 80/20 rule means that at least 80 per cent of your working time should overlap with the rest of your team. However, in exceptional circumstances, a request to work in a safe country outside of the EU can be granted if you've received approval from your line manager, People team and someone from C-level. Our Workplaces team is always looking for ways to ensure that Pandas based outside Vienna have a similar experience they would find in our HQ.
