Pros

There’s lots of resources to do ambitious, multimedia work. There’s a team of data journalists, photographers and graphic designers to help bring your stories to life. Depending on your team and beat, you can get the time to do ambitious enterprise stories. I like the collaboration that is encouraged in the newsroom

Cons

Navigating the bureaucracy is difficult. Having political capital is necessary to be successful. The newsroom gets overhauled every two or so years. Some reporters can be really cutthroat and competitive.

Pros

-Great Health benefits -Large Newsroom

Cons

-Massive bureaucracy -Management often promotes people based on favoritism -An excess number of managers means that there is often stadium editing and a tremendous amount of hoops one has to go through in order to get a story off the ground.
