They invest in their employees with their training. Great health benefits.

Cons

Flat structure means little room for promotion. Culture is leaning towards increased marketing of oneself as opposed to team/department. Claims meritocracy, in reality, that is dependent on how much your bosses like you.

Great benefits, including health care, onsite medical clinic, 401k, snacks/beverages, summer picnic, etc. Solid salary.

Cons

Bloomberg prides itself on being "transparent" but management is not transparent AT ALL. No care for employee mental health. Not supportive of employee professional growth. Low annual salary increases (less than 2%) even with stellar performance reviews. HR issues (discrimination, sexual harassment) swept under the rug.
