Pros

The benefits are pretty much unmatched at this level. You never have to worry if you're getting a competitive salary, top line health insurance, and other perks. Really a great place in that regard.

Cons

In the past two years there has been a decaying culture. At first the boom of the COVID market meant BCG over hired to meet demand, then the past year has been characterized by "silent layoffs" in which people are let go due to poor business but are told they're being let go due to performance. Everyone who is left has clung to their pyramids and cast others aside. The mentorship culture that used to be present is largely gone and I don't recognize the company I joined. I'm looking to leave.

Pros

Good intellectual rigor and great brand name providing a solid platform. Highly respected by C-suite. Firm has exceptional digital capabilities and ahead of the curve on futuristic topics like C&S, ESG and AI.

Cons

Very political and insecure environment with poor people strategy. Too many loopholes in the system, Poor and biased governance with old boys and "girl" camps, who often clash. No work life balance and terrible culture of fear, individualism, territoriality, hierarchy and power play. No personal touch at all.

Pros

Good food, snacks, one way transport, Wi-Fi and broadband reimbursement. Overall office culture is superlative and of course the Brand name. Affiliation and engagement though out the year, pay bonus on time. You will work with "some of finest people" on this planet.

Cons

It is not recommended to apply for this role if it pertains to their GS/ES. They have started hiring people directly from university, cheap hoteliers and average people with whom you have to workday by day. If this is the case, they should start hiring 3rd parties instead Many people say it has become a "call centre" and a typical BCG BPO. Many people have joined this team only to take IJP later. Some of them clearly say upfront sadly the outlook of IJP is grim too- HR go around the corner and find mediocre talent from the market without spending time and looking people around- This is not about this team or that team but most teams. They have sold this "model" worldwide and it would hurt them later as the focus shifts to quantity instead of quality. Learning opportunity- Basic- also a lot happen for the sake of it because someone is answerable. The team is so big that they cannot host skip level meeting on 1:1- Imagin inviting whole shifts/ around 30-40 people for the skip level- Do they ever get the "actual" feedback so this exercise is just whitewashing.
